My love for art began at a young age and has grown into a lifelong pursuit. I am self-taught and have a passion for designing unique pieces using mostly natural materials.

Having experimented with different mediums, I have found working with glass and wood to be an enjoyable challenge. I continually endeavor to learn new techniques in glass and wood in which to expand my portfolio.

I have been involved with creating art pieces with my artistic mother: together we painted the "Spirit Bear" that stands at the Sooke Museum; as well, we painted a coastal scene on a utility box in Ed MacGregor Park, in Sooke.

The roots of my inspiration come from everything that surrounds me. Living in Sooke, B.C. Canada, there is so much natural diversity to explore. My artistic focus primarily involves reproducing visions of the Pacific West Coast’s diverse wildlife and landscapes. I also like to add a little whimsy into my art every now and then!

I am currently working on live edge wood slab pieces to keep the original characteristic of a tree’s shape and bark.

I enjoy hiking, beach combing and finding new places to visit on beautiful Vancouver Island.
